Immersive Education Academy (iEd) Collaborates with ETS to Provide Students with an Online TOEFL® test Prep Program

Immersive Education Academy announces the launch of its new online TOEFL® test prep course for students in Asia. Through its collaboration with ETS, the TOEFL test prep course will leverage official TOEFL iBT® test content and be a convenient and effective tool to help international students better prepare for the TOEFL iBT test.

The online TOEFL test prep course will be exclusively developed and delivered online through Immersive Education Academy’s learning platform with the help of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign’s Intensive English Institute. The expected launch of the course will be in late 2021.

Through the course, international students will be able to practice with official TOEFL iBT past test questions. Aspiring international students will also be able to take advantage of feedback using ETS’s scoring and feedback engines — the SpeechRater® service and the e-rater® engine.

Together, ETS’s scoring technology, combined with Immersive Education Academy’s AI-enhanced learning platform, will provide valuable performance data about students that can be used to analyze their strengths and weaknesses. Reports can be generated for students, teachers, schools and national education authorities. By developing a modular TOEFL test prep program focused on the different skill areas, the program can be incorporated into different countries and curriculums provided by schools and universities.
