Bringing Alternative Learning Solutions to Young Learners
Immersive Education Academy launched its youth program for Primary 6 students in Tung Wah Group of Hospitals’ Wong Yee Jar Jat Memorial College. The program provides students with supplemental ways of learning online. Lessons use multimedia learning content like pictures, music and videos. Classes are conducted by native English speaking teachers that work with students to improve their pronunciation and speaking fluency. “Students are given chances to speak to native English instructors. They learn new words and improve their pronunciation skills. They are encouraged to be more expressive,” said Ms. Anna Ngai, an English teacher from Wong Yee Jar Jat Memorial College.
Designed to deliver alternative learning solutions to students and schools alike, Immersive Education Academy’s e-learning platform is capable of seamlessly incorporating multimedia in its virtual classroom, online learning account, and native English teachers.
Immersive Education Academy’s ongoing vision is to extend program and services to more schools in Hong Kong.
Wong Yee Jar Jat Memorial Primary School, located in Sai Kung District, is a government-subsidized primary public school. Founded in 1996, and currently managed by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, the co-ed school’s motto is Diligence, Frugality, Loyalty and Faithfulness.
